We have one-hour long weight loss education sessions for new patients and these take place on Wednesday mornings 7-8, Thursday evenings 530-630 and Fridays 1230-130.
These sessions include physician-assisted weight loss meaning that patients always meet with physicians one on one for individualized weight loss.
Medical Emergencies
In the event of a life-threatening medical emergency, call medical emergency services at 911 immediately. DO NOT WAIT! Inform the emergency room staff that you are a patient of Center for Healthy Weight, and they will contact us.
After Hours Urgent Medical Needs
If you have an urgent medical need and need to talk to our doctors after our regular hours, please call our office at (832) 619-1373. A doctor is on-call 24 hours a day. Your call will be returned promptly.
Insurance / Payment / Billing
At Center for Healthy Weight, we do NOT accept any insurance plans. For your convenience, we do accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.We also accept CareCredit, a financing option for healthcare and more.

Prescription Requests
Prescriptions and refills for established patients of Center for Healthy Weight are routinely issued during our regular office hours (see above). No refills are issued during the evenings, weekends, or holidays, as the doctors do not have access to your medical records during those times. It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy.
Appointments
We know you have many choices when choosing a doctor in Friendswood, TX, so we have made requesting an appointment a simple process via our Web site. If, for any reason, you cannot keep a scheduled appointment or will be delayed, please call as soon as possible. Charges may be incurred for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before scheduled appointment time.
